The Black Hawk County Sheriff’s Office is a full-service law enforcement agency. It has the primary duties of emergency response and crime investigation in the rural and unincorporated areas of Black Hawk County. The $200,000 award from BHCGA will fund the construction of a hygienic evidence processing facility containing a garage area, storage area, and laboratory.
