Black Hawk County Conservation Board

Hickory Hills Park at the edge of Waterloo is one of the area's most unique natural parks. With the $200,000 grant, the Black Hawk County Conservation Board will begin restoring the 39-acre Casey Lake for better water quality, fish habitats, and shoreline amenities. Once complete, Casey Lake will be removed from the States Impaired Water List and provide recreational opportunities for fishing, kayaking, canoeing, and electric boating.
