Black Hawk County Gaming Association Board Meetings are open to the public, following Iowa Chapters 21 and 22. Changes to the information posted above will be updated at least one week prior to the meeting date.
Public Presentations: The public may resent information to the Board, but must receive prior approval to do so and the presentation must be part of the meeting agenda. Requests to appear on the agenda should be directed to Emily Hanson, Executive Director, at least one week prior to the scheduled meeting. The Board does not encourage grant applicants to present their proposals in person. As a general rule, each written grant application, as presented, will stand or fall upon its own merits, without further elaboration. However, the Board, at the members' discretion, may agree to personal presentation if a project is particularly complex or when there are other unusual or extenuating circumstances.
